Application Process and Forms
Physician Executive MBA candidates are required to complete two separate applications: a University of Tennessee Graduate School application
and a Physician Executive MBA application
When applying for admission, please follow these simple steps:
- Contact us to let us know you're thinking about enrolling or are planning to enroll in the program. Please call the program director, Dr. Mike Stahl, at +1 (865) 974-1768 or e-mail us at email@example.com.
- Complete our PEMBA online application. This application includes . . .
Note: You may upload or send in your essay and CV separately from your application.
Make arrangements for delivery of original, official transcripts from each institution from which college or university credit was earned to the PEMBA program. Residency training, fellowships, and post-doctoral studies should not be requested unless you earned college credit for them. If you were educated outside the United States, the transcript requirement is typically fulfilled by provision of official, individually attested mark sheets and a degree confirmation. The mark sheets should be attested by the institution’s registrar or controller of exams (as opposed to officials from an affiliated college).
- Demographic information about you that we need to process your application
- An application essay
- Your most recent CV or résumé
Note: You don’t need to request multiple sets of documents. To save resources, time, and expense, the Physician Executive MBA program and the UT Graduate School share these documents.
Complete the graduate school online application. For the graduate school application, please follow that office's instructions carefully.
Note: when asked for colleges/universities attended, do not list residencies, fellowships, or board certifications.
For each program year beginning in January, the early decision deadline is July 15
of the preceding year; the priority application deadline is October 30
. Applications submitted after that date will be reviewed and students admitted on the basis of available space only. Note: international students must apply by June 15.
If you have questions or need help with your application, don't hesitate to contact the Physician Executive MBA program office at +1 (865) 974-1772 or firstname.lastname@example.org
