Dr. Cook currently serves as the Chief of Nuclear Medicine at the Veteran's Administration in East Orange, NJ. After obtaining his Bachelor of Science degree from the Saint Vincent College in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, he received his medical degree from the University of Health Sciences in Kansas City, Missouri. Dr. Coots is a full time member of an eight-person pulmonary and critical care specialty group, Pulmonary and Critical Care Associates, in Orange Park, FL. His primary practice is critical care in the intensive care unit and pulmonary consultation work outside of it. Dr. Coots is active on several hospital committees including the Quality Council, which he chaired for two years, the Credentials Committee, the Code Blue Committee, which includes oversight of the ICU, the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee, and the Utilization Review Committee. Currently he is in his fifth year as an active member of the Medical Executive Committee, and second as the Chief of the Medical Staff. Dr. Coots obtained his medical degree from the University of South Alabama in 1978 and followed it with a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in pulmonary medicine. Dr. Dhafar, a native of Saudi Arabia, received his medical degree from the University College in Calway, Ireland, in 1984. He holds Fellowships at the Royal College of Surgeons in Dublin, Ireland, and the American College of Surgeons in the United States. Dr. Dhafar is currently employed as a general surgeon at the Al Nour Specialist Hospital in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, where he has held multiple consultant and medical director positions. Dr. Dhafar also performed the first four Gastric Adjust Swedish Band surgeries in the Middle East.

Dr. Ford was born and raised in South Florida. After completing her undergraduate studies at the University of Florida she received her medical school education at Howard University in Washington, DC. Dr. Robert Mills received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology while attending the University of Texas at Arlington. He graduated from Saint Matthews University School of Medicine in 2000. After completing his family medicine residency program, he became board certified in 2003. Since then, he has practiced family medicine full time as the assistant medical director in a community health center associated with the National Health Service Corp in rural Oklahoma. While there he was the team leader for the diabetes health disparities collaborative and also was the medical director for both hospice and home health care as well as the regional mental health director for several clinics. For the last 3 years he has been one of the top producing family medicine providers at Mike O'Callaghan Federal Hospital Family Medicine Residency at Nellis AFB and the United States Air Force Academy. While at Nellis, he has been one of the instructors for TeamStepps, an evidence-based teamwork system to improve communication and patient safety skills for health care providers. He also serves as adjunct faculty for a local medical school. His passions include Shakespeare, being a local age group champion triathlete, and caring for his puppies. He is married to his wife, Jenna. Neal became interested in the physician executive program as he matured in family medicine and realized he wanted to influence the regional and national planning of health care services. His goal is to improve the healthcare of Americans everywhere.

Dr. Morris is a graduate of Howard University College of Medicine and has completed his residency and fellowship training at the University of Tennessee-Memphis. He has served as president of the Bluff City Medical Society, the Memphis affiliate of NMA, and received several awards, including the society's Physician of the Year Award in 1999. He also has served on the board of the Memphis and Shelby County Medical Society, a chapter of the American Medical Association. Dr. Morris has also served in various leadership roles with NMA. Dr. Salary has dedicated her life to promote healthy lifestyles to improve the mental health and physical health of the youth and their families. Her work is her passion and her life mission. She attended University of Virginia and as a part of her volunteer work in her undergraduate she worked as a big sister and at domestic violence abuse shelter for women and children. Prior to medical school, Cheryl worked in direct care with HIV positive infants and toddlers from zero to three years old and with foster care children from twelve to eighteen years old. At Wayne State medical school, she volunteered at the children's hospital in the neonatal unit and once more as a big sister. After medical school, Dr. Salary completed residency and fellowship in General Psychiatry and Child Psychiatry at Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic, University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. During her fellowship, she worked as Medical Director for community organization developing a mental health component to their children's programming. Currently, she works for the VA Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio as Medical Director for Substance Abuse and Post-traumatic Stress residential programs. She is also on faculty in the Psychiatry Department at Wright State School of Medicine. Dr. Salary anticipates that the PEMBA program will help her to be more effective in her current and future challenges as a leader in healthcare. Dr. Salary intends to use her business education to help influence the delivery of medical services available in the community. She expects to reach her career goals more effectively by being able to communicate and use business language more effectively to work with other healthcare administrators. John Whitley, MD, MBA

Dr. John Whitley is a Board Certified neurosurgeon and neuroscientist. Interest and devotion to the field of Neuroscience led Dr.Whitley to pursue a Doctorate in Neuroscience and Anatomy as well as a Medical Degree from Wake Forest University School of Medicine. Dr. Whitley has authored over 60 peer-reviewed scientific articles and has written extensively on traumatic brain injury and hemodynamics of cerebral blood flow. As a practicing neurosurgeon for over 19 years, Dr. Whitley has developed and improved technologies that are part of his daily armamentarium. Innovator, researcher and compassionate physician describes Dr. Whitley. Dr. Whitley began his professional career in Monroe, Louisiana and then relocated to Valdosta, Georgia before arriving in Oak Ridge, Tennessee where he currently practices. T. J. Yoo, MD, MBA

Dr. Yoo is a Professor of Medicine and a Section Chief of the Allergy, Immunology, and Rheumatology Division. He also has joint appointment as a Professor of Molecular Sciences, Otolaryngology, and is a Member of the Neuroscience Institute at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, TN since 1980. He obtained his Medical Degree from the Seoul National School of Medicine in Seoul, South Korea, and his Ph.D. in Biophysics from the University of California at Berkley, CA. Dr. Yoo trained at Barnes Hospital, Washington University, St. Louis, for house staff in Internal Medicine and did fellowship in Allergy/Immunology and had further training in NYU, New York Medical Center, NY and Roswell Park Memorial Institute for Cancer Research, Buffalo, NY. Dr. Yoo himself trained over 100 fellows in both Clinical Allergy/Immunology and researchers in Molecular Immunology as Program Director of UT Allergy/Immunology Training Program and Division Chief over 27 years and produced over 30 professors around the world who are the leaders in their chosen fields. He established the molecular basis of autoimmune hearing loss and has over 30 years of research in this field. He has published more than 170 research papers and given over 400 special lectures around the world. One of the world authorities in the molecular mechanism of autoimmune hearing loss, and the most quoted author in the world in ENT journals in the 1980s, he engineered the first gene therapy to restore hearing in animal models in 1990 and adoptive cellular gene therapy in 2005 restored the hearing in animal models, and in 2009, he was able to restore hearing in a human autoimmune ear disease patient for the first time in the history of medicine, using adipose tissue derived autologous mesenchymal stem cells. His research interests include DNA vaccine therapy and adult stem cell research for the treatment of Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, Huntington's disease, diabetes, and cancer, and many incurable autoimmune diseases. This treatment has already ameliorated more than a dozen incurable human diseases, such as autoimmune hearing loss, osteoarthritis, ulcerative colitis, severe atopic dermatitis, COPD with asthma, Hashimoto thyroiditis, Diabetes Mellitus, MS, Stroke, Psoriasis and others. Dr. Yoo patented DNA vaccine for some immune diseases and developed DNA vaccine for Alzheimer's disease; formed the ImmuGen for DNA vaccine therapy and StemGen, a global stem cell and gene therapy center. The Physician Executive MBA program will provide him with the business background for his stem cell and gene therapy enterprises.
